Please note: From 2nd January 2019, car parking at The Runnymede will be operated and managed by UK CPM. From this date parking at the hospital will be chargeable via Pay & Register and ANPR Ticketing Circle The Runnymede Hospital has 52 beds. Patients are accommodated in single private rooms with en suite facilities, telephone, radio, satellite television and nurse call system. Visitors are generally welcome from 9am until 9pm. Patients are offered a range of delicious meals and special dietary requirements can be met with a few days notice. Guests are welcome to dine with patients in their rooms. The Physiotherapy Department is staffed by Chartered State Registered Physiotherapists. The department offers full outpatient and inpatient services for the assessment and treatment of a wide range of injuries and conditions including: Sprains, Whiplash, back and neck problems, Post-operative joint surgery, Recovery from fractures, Female urinary incontinence problems, Acupuncture and Biomechanical assessment for foot orthotics. You can be referred for physiotherapy by your GP or consultant, or you can make your own appointment. The X-ray Department offers a wide range of diagnostic and interventional examinations, using some of the most modern and sophisticated equipment available, including general X-ray, fluoroscopy, interventional radiology, ultrasound and mammography. You may need a referral from your GP. We offer a variety of comprehensive health screens tailored to suit the patient's age, sex and lifestyle as well as personal medical and family history.
